Hi, I'm Alix. I found photography by accident, while I was living abroad.

One afternoon, wandering through a busy Chinese market, I spotted an old film camera sitting among the stalls. The price was small, and something about it pulled me in. I bought it on the spot, without knowing that one small purchase would change how I see the world.

That camera, an Olympus, taught me something I still hold onto: a single frame on film can hold a single moment. There's no scrolling back, no endless retakes. You look, you wait, you press the shutter, and that moment is kept.

This site is my collection of those moments from my travels. Each photo brings a place, a sound, or a stranger's smile back to me, and I'm so happy to share them with you.
